Support project financial management including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, reporting, audit readiness, cashflow and commitment tracking. Ensure accurate recording and safeguarding of financial documents, supervise petty cash and junior finance staff, strengthen partner capacity, manage procurement and fleet/office administration, and implement internal controls and risk mitigation to ensure donor and organizational compliance.

Provide accounting guidance and hands-on support to 5-6 country finance teams, oversee month-end and year-end close, analyse financial data, support global audits, manage provisions, drive process improvements (including AI tools), and develop accounting guidelines and training to ensure Dutch GAAP compliance and data quality.

Lead community engagement and Inclusive Landscape Management (ILM) in Nigeria: facilitate participatory assessments, develop community and watershed plans, train farmer groups, promote agroecological and climate‑resilient practices, strengthen local institutions and GESI inclusion, monitor progress, document lessons, and coordinate with partners and local authorities to scale sustainable soil and landscape interventions.

Support day-to-day follow-up, tracking and documentation of grants, co-investments and programme resources across partners and SNV-led activities. Verify disbursement documentation, monitor budget utilisation, support compliance and audits, track co-investment contributions, strengthen partner capacity, and produce analyses and reports to inform adaptive management and decision-making.
