Provides end-to-end commercial sales support for customers and external sales personnel. Responsibilities include handling RFQs, preparing quotations and bids, reviewing contracts and orders, entering orders in SAP, coordinating with supply plants, expediting deliveries, managing pricing, addressing credit and account queries, handling returns and complaints, and supporting customer visits. The role requires strong organization, customer service, technical product understanding, and coordination across internal departments.

Perform pre-order application and techno-commercial engineering for wet seal and fluid control systems: interpret specifications, select and size products, prepare P&IDs and instrument datasheets, obtain supplier quotes, and support post-order handover and execution teams to ensure accurate, manufacturable, competitive proposals.

Provide Level 1 technical support (phone, email, web) and on-site desk-side assistance for Windows devices, mobile devices, networked manufacturing peripherals, and BIS services. Log and resolve incidents within SLAs, escalate when needed, support projects and deployments, manage assets and documentation, and collaborate with vendors and other IT teams. Travel to other Smiths locations as required.

Lead automation projects in a high-mix precision machining environment: design and implement robotic machine tending, integrate conveyors and part handling, optimize CNC cell utilization, troubleshoot controls/robotic/electrical/pneumatic issues, develop maintenance and safety procedures, and create documentation and training to improve SPQDC metrics.

Support sales strategy development using sales data and market trends. Analyze and compare data, create graphs to inform commercial decisions across Latin America, and consolidate/review LATAM presentations. Perform related administrative tasks for the sales area.
