Creates SOLIDWORKS 3D models, fabrication and assembly drawings, mechanical layouts, BOMs, and engineering documentation for aerospace and defense products. Supports concept development through production, prototypes, design reviews, troubleshooting, sustaining engineering, and engineering changes. Applies GD&T, ASME Y14.5, DFM, and design-to-cost principles while collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, quality, procurement, and suppliers. Works with machined, sheet-metal, additive-manufactured, and electromechanical components.

Ensure product quality on assigned programs by reviewing contracts and drawings, managing QMS and supplier quality, performing audits, FAI, RMAs, defect trend analysis, root cause/corrective actions, and driving continuous improvement.

Design and take technical responsibility for analog and digital hardware across the product lifecycle: research, architecture trades, component selection, schematic and PCB design, prototyping, verification, proposals, manufacturing support, sustainment, and customer support for aerospace/defense electronic systems.
