Leads enterprise AI-service help desk support for CMS stakeholders, managing the support queue, ensuring high-quality responses, mentoring staff, creating playbooks and SOPs, maintaining knowledge bases, supporting UAT and smoke testing, and communicating user feedback to product and engineering teams.

Develop and maintain SQL-based data views, ETL workflows, and cloud data warehouse processes supporting CMS healthcare research data. Ingest new data sources, optimize database performance, document business logic, support production data loads, and collaborate with analysts, technical leads, and CMS partners. The role also involves data quality, monitoring, permissions, recovery, troubleshooting, and occasional off-hours or weekend production support.

Develop scalable Python software for an AI-driven public-services platform; automate CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and infrastructure-as-code tools; build automated unit, integration, and regression tests; containerize applications; investigate failures; integrate security and code-quality gates; optimize backend performance; and collaborate with human-centered design specialists. The role also supports DevSecOps practices, REST APIs, agile delivery, and potentially NLP, LLM, and federal compliance initiatives.

Develop and administer databases, data warehouses, governance frameworks, validation rules, access controls, backup and disaster recovery plans, and automated data pipelines. Maintain data dictionaries and reporting systems while serving as the primary point of contact for a federal client. Lead architecture and technical vision to merge and modernize CMS systems on AWS. Design modular, containerized, IaC-driven platforms with CI/CD, observability, disaster recovery, and LLM/automation capabilities. Guide migrations, apply modern patterns (strangler-fig), translate stakeholder needs, and provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.

Design, deploy, and operate secure, cost‑efficient AWS environments. Build AI/ML-ready infrastructure, enforce security and compliance (FISMA/RMF), implement HA and disaster recovery, manage multi‑tenant isolation, automate with IaC, monitor and optimize performance and cloud costs.
