Build accessible, Section 508-compliant interfaces and secure, federally compliant APIs. Ensure retrieval quality, safety, automated testing, CI/CD, and mentor teammates within a cross-functional, remote U.S.-based team.

Design, implement, and maintain cloud-native full-stack software to migrate, preserve, and make large volumes of government records searchable and accessible. Lead and scale Skylight's growth by building strategies that leverage SBIR/STTR contract vehicles, coordinate business development, capture, proposals, account management, and marketing alignment. Drive adoption of AI/automation in growth workflows, support bids & proposals, and partner with executives to win federal professional services contracts.

Design, build, and maintain end-to-end, accessible, secure full-stack software for a federal health/civilian agency. Build Section 508-compliant UIs, backend APIs, and services; follow API-first, CI/CD, automated testing, and security best practices; identify and remediate technical debt; mentor engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, performant government software.

Lead end-to-end product design for complex government-facing systems: plan and conduct user research, define scalable interaction flows and information architecture, design accessible UIs, set design standards, mentor other designers, evangelize human-centered design, balance user and business needs in agile teams, and work with clients on sensitive-data systems.

Lead and mentor engineering teams across squads, provide architectural and cloud (AWS/Azure) oversight, standardize CI/CD, IaC, automated testing, and secure DevOps practices, embed compliance (ATO/FedRAMP) into delivery, partner with product/design, and manage people and performance in a federal contracting environment.

Lead and scope generative and evaluative user research for federal health/civilian services, recruit participants (within privacy constraints), synthesize quantitative and qualitative findings into design and policy recommendations, communicate results, mentor researchers, and advocate for user-centered service direction.
