Lead origination, development, and closure of utility-scale battery energy storage (BESS) projects. Build and manage a sales pipeline, cultivate long-term customer relationships, represent the company at industry events, respond to complex RFPs, and negotiate major procurement and service contracts to meet revenue targets.

Provide employment and HR legal advice, manage compliance programs (HSE, labor, privacy), coordinate with HQ, handle disputes and investigations, draft and negotiate commercial contracts, perform legal research, and manage outside counsel.

Manage employee relations by investigating complaints, mediating disputes, monitoring EEO and union trends, running engagement and onboarding programs, coaching managers on performance and people skills, and supporting diversity and inclusion and training initiatives.

Process payroll accurately and on time, calculate regular and overtime pay, tax withholdings and deductions, reconcile payroll records, handle adjustments and inquiries, ensure compliance with payroll laws and company policies, and prepare payroll reports.

Provide technical pre-sales and contracting support for utility-scale energy storage (DC Blocks, BESS, PCS, EMS). Develop cost models, system designs, SLDs, RFP/LTSA exhibits, lead technical negotiations, and ensure compliance with codes and standards while coordinating across sales, engineering, vendors, and legal.

Design and integrate utility-scale BESS, EMS, and PCS solutions. Lead testing (factory and vendor), verify performance, produce technical documentation, support commissioning, train field teams, and coordinate vendors and customers for lifecycle delivery.

Lead end-to-end BESS project delivery from sales handoff through manufacturing, logistics, site installation, and commissioning. Manage schedules, budgets, change orders, contracts, risk register, and cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, maintain margins, and ensure contractual compliance while communicating status to customers and leadership.

Lead electrical and control system design, integration, and execution of utility-scale and commercial energy storage projects. Manage technical deliverables, design SCADA/PPC architectures, define telemetry and communication protocols, perform power system analysis, ensure code compliance, mitigate technical risk, and provide lifecycle technical support through commissioning and handover.

Lead post-commissioning field service for grid-scale BESS: manage technicians and third-party O&M, build and run LTSA cost models, enforce reliability and compliance (NFPA 855, OSHA, LOTO), perform disciplined RCA (8D, Fishbone, 5-Whys), minimize downtime/Liquidated Damages, and feed failure data back to R&D and manufacturing.
