Serves as the technical authority for network architecture, industrial communications, and OT cybersecurity across energy storage and energy management platforms. Owns end-to-end network architecture, reference designs, hardware standards, segmentation, secure remote access, industrial protocols, and cybersecurity practices. Leads architecture reviews, threat modeling, risk assessments, commissioning standards, and technical issue resolution. Partners with multidisciplinary teams, customers, vendors, and suppliers while mentoring engineers and influencing technical direction without formal management authority.

Lead the technical architecture and strategy for SKOn’s energy storage software, controls, and EMS platform. Define scalable architectures spanning EMS, PCS, BMS, grid controls, cloud and edge systems, networking, cybersecurity, and external integrations. Establish control hierarchies, interfaces, high-availability designs, standards, and governance. Serve as senior technical authority, guide architecture reviews, mentor engineering leaders, support strategic customers, and drive the evolution from project-specific implementations to reusable products for utility-scale storage, microgrids, data centers, and mission-critical applications.

Manage facility HVAC and utility systems through inspections, maintenance planning, repair and investment budgeting, energy-saving initiatives, regulatory compliance, PSM/ISO audits, construction supervision, procurement, and emergency preparedness. The role also involves reviewing technical drawings, maintaining facility documentation, investigating abnormalities, managing contractors and materials, and coordinating government inspections.

Leads sales strategy, pipeline development, customer relationships, proposals, and contract negotiations for utility-scale battery energy storage projects. Develops business with utilities, independent power producers, and renewable energy developers; manages long sales cycles and complex BESS agreements. Monitors market and regulatory trends, represents the company at industry events, and coordinates cross-functional teams to support successful project execution.

Leads project engineering and systems integration for utility-scale battery energy storage projects. Provides technical sales support, develops system designs and engineering documentation, coordinates PCS, EMS, and vendor integration, supports contract negotiations, and drives value engineering. The role serves as a technical authority across customer engagements, project execution, commissioning, and operations, initially as a senior individual contributor before building and managing the project engineering team.

Manages accounting and tax teams while overseeing financial reporting, analysis, compliance, budgeting, forecasting, taxation, and financial controls. Advises management on financial matters, prepares executive and regulatory reports, coordinates workforce planning, coaches staff, monitors KPIs, and resolves employee relations issues. The role also coordinates finance activities with other departments and ensures compliance with accounting standards and applicable regulations.

Provide technical pre-sales and contracting support for utility-scale energy storage (DC Blocks, BESS, PCS, EMS). Develop cost models, system designs, SLDs, RFP/LTSA exhibits, lead technical negotiations, and ensure compliance with codes and standards while coordinating across sales, engineering, vendors, and legal.
