Perform abdominal, pelvic, OB/GYN, small-parts, and vascular ultrasound examinations in a high-volume outpatient setting. Produce diagnostically complete images, optimize scanning protocols, document accurately in PACS, RIS, and EMR systems, and provide compassionate patient care. Manage workflows independently, maintain exam areas, participate in quality assurance and continuing education, and mentor students or new staff. ARDMS certification, diagnostic sonography education, BLS certification, and applicable state licensure are required or expected.

Operates GE, Siemens, or Philips CT systems; uses PACS and RIS; applies radiation safety and infection control standards; manages outpatient workflows; responds to contrast reactions; documents exams; assists and educates patients; and mentors students.

Performs diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including obstetric, gynecological, abdominal, retroperitoneal, breast, small-parts, vascular, and radiation therapy localization scans. Schedules tests, records results, maintains logs, calibrates equipment, orders supplies, and supports patient care under general supervision. Requires ARDMS registration, ultrasound training or qualified radiologic technologist experience, modality knowledge, and hands-on CPR certification.
