Oversee front-end can-making production operations, including cupping, body-making, and trimming. Lead and develop production staff, monitor performance, improve efficiency, troubleshoot equipment, coordinate preventive maintenance, ensure quality and safety compliance, and collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and quality teams. Apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methods, support equipment upgrades, and report on production metrics, downtime, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Operates and sets up Krones can filling equipment, monitors filling, sealing, labeling, and product quality, performs adjustments and routine maintenance, troubleshoots issues, and maintains production records. Trains operators on machinery, changeovers, calibration, and safety procedures. Ensures sanitation, CIP, GMP, food safety, and production standards are followed while identifying process improvements and escalating complex maintenance issues.

Develops and improves predictive and preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and increase equipment reliability. Leads root cause analysis, failure-mode reviews, reliability projects, asset prioritization, PM optimization, condition monitoring, and maintenance strategy development. Analyzes CMMS/EAM data and reliability metrics, collaborates with Production, Maintenance, and Engineering teams, and supports Lean, 5S, Six Sigma, TPM, equipment overhauls, alignment, balancing, and long-term reliability roadmaps.

Leads environmental, health, and safety programs, ensuring OSHA and state regulatory compliance. Develops inspections, injury prevention, accident investigations, environmental reporting, safety procedures, training, and employee safety committees. Evaluates workplace and equipment hazards, maintains MSDS records, monitors program effectiveness, and partners with site leadership to improve operational safety. Supports food safety issue escalation and resolution.

Lead and execute quality and food safety investigations, root cause analysis, CAPA, audits, and continuous improvement in a food/beverage manufacturing environment. Provide hands-on floor support, maintain quality documentation, mentor technicians, and drive cross-functional quality projects for new product and process implementations.
