Coordinates employee training, workplace safety programs, audits, inspections, incident investigations, compliance records, environmental programs, and sustainability reporting at a manufacturing facility. Leads the safety committee, supports corrective actions and regulatory compliance, and partners with operations, HR, facilities, and other teams to promote a safe and productive workplace.

Participate in an eight- to ten-month training program focused on production supervision, plant operations, production planning, equipment management, quality methods, safety, and labor relations. Assist plant management with daily operations, manage production throughput, enforce standard procedures, and train production staff. The role requires manufacturing experience, machinery troubleshooting, leadership ability, mechanical aptitude, and strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Supervise production employees manufacturing metal closures while ensuring safety, food safety, quality, productivity, labor contract compliance, and efficient production flow. Apply SPC principles and SOPs, manage equipment, assign work, mentor employees, solve problems, and foster effective communication. The role requires substantial time on the production floor and availability for shifts, weekends, and overtime.
