Oversees day-to-day production operations, production planning, output, quality, material flow, safety, and schedule adherence. Leads Line Leads and production employees through coaching, training, performance management, and accountability. Troubleshoots operational issues with Maintenance, Engineering, MES, and support teams; conducts shift handoffs; manages personnel administration; and drives Lean Six Sigma, 6S, and continuous improvement projects to improve efficiency and team performance.

Responsible for improving the reliability, availability, safety, and performance of production equipment, including CVD diamond-synthesis reactors. Duties include equipment troubleshooting, maintenance procedure development, commissioning, start-up planning, spare-parts specification, SOP improvement, training, data analysis, capital projects, and continuous improvement. The role serves as the in-house equipment expert and supports Maintenance Technicians while collaborating with Operations and external partners.

Supervise CNC machining operations, staff, programming, tooling, equipment, maintenance, schedules, and production efficiency. Partner with Engineering and Quality to improve manufacturability, quality, workflows, and cost effectiveness. Establish programming and documentation standards, implement best practices, mentor team members, manage facility and equipment logistics, and support production goals. The role also coordinates manufacturing moves and recommends investments based on budget, ROI, lead time, and expected outcomes.

Independently set up and operate 5-axis and 3-axis CNC machines, lathes, and related equipment. Interpret complex blueprints and GD&T, make minor G&M code and machining adjustments, measure parts to print tolerances, troubleshoot issues, and ensure quality outcomes. The role also involves process improvement, safety compliance, cross-functional communication, and mentoring entry-level machinists in a machine shop environment.

Develop and debug embedded C firmware for ARM-based microcontrollers throughout the hardware product lifecycle. Responsibilities include board bring-up, peripheral and USB-C/Power Delivery integration, power-management firmware, bootloaders, hardware debugging, and firmware testing. The engineer interprets schematics and datasheets, collaborates with hardware teams, maintains board support packages and source code, documents designs, and supports production-ready firmware development.

Designs, develops, tests, troubleshoots, and integrates complex electrical and PCB-based hardware for autonomous defense systems. Responsibilities include schematic capture, PCB layout, power and embedded electronics design, circuit analysis, board bring-up, qualification testing, hardware debugging, root-cause analysis, and production support. The engineer collaborates cross-functionally through the full product lifecycle and uses laboratory equipment, communication protocols, and technical documentation to deliver reliable hardware.

Leads and mentors a multidisciplinary engineering team while providing technical direction across electrical, electronics, and software disciplines. Oversees product development from concept through manufacturing, manages engineering priorities and resources, and ensures robust verification, validation, configuration, and development practices. Partners with manufacturing, quality, program management, and senior leadership to guide technical and business decisions. The role is hands-on and suited to an experienced engineering leader comfortable developing customized hardware and software products in a small organization.

Provides strategic and technical leadership for engineering teams designing custom packaging and food-processing equipment. Oversees projects from concept through commissioning, reviews mechanical designs and documentation, coordinates resources and schedules, and partners with manufacturing, sales, vendors, customers, and leadership. Leads troubleshooting, design improvements, manufacturability initiatives, engineering standards, and technical decision-making across multiple projects. Occasional U.S. travel is required for commissioning, startups, customer projects, and trade shows.

Leads the design and implementation of moderately complex control and vision systems. Responsibilities include architecting solutions, programming and integrating PLCs, HMIs, motion systems, robots, drives, sensors, and vision equipment; specifying components; designing compliant electrical systems; supporting enclosure builds and documentation; and conducting testing, validation, FAT, SAT, commissioning, troubleshooting, and customer training. The role also interfaces with clients, guides junior engineers, and supports cross-functional delivery.

Operates and independently sets up CNC lathes, mills, and 5-axis machining centers to manufacture parts from blueprints and engineering models. Performs measurements, GD&T interpretation, G&M code edits, tooling and offset adjustments, troubleshooting, and quality checks. Maintains safe work practices, communicates setup information, suggests process improvements, and mentors entry-level machinists. Requires experience with Haas and Kitamura equipment, lathe work, precision measurement, and basic machining controls.

Lead safety and reliability engineering for aerospace products: perform FMEA, fault tree and common-cause analyses, FRACAS support, risk and cybersecurity assessments, apply industry standards and reliability test methods, participate in design reviews, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers.

Create, optimize, and simulate CNC programs (primarily Mastercam) for 3-axis (and occasional 5-axis) milling. Set up and operate mills, interpret drawings, ensure quality and tolerances, troubleshoot programs, design workholding/fixtures, support operators, and produce setup and inspection documentation. CMM programming/operation is a plus. Must follow safety protocols and complete post-offer background and drug screening.
