Provide sustaining engineering support for released cable products and new product introductions, lead continuous improvement and CAPA/root-cause investigations, ensure scalability and performance targets (OEE, yield), manage line extensions and material/vendor qualifications, and develop standard procedures and training to support manufacturing operations.

Lead development and scaling of manufacturing processes for advanced hardware prototypes through pilot production. Drive DFM/DFx, process validation (DOE), tooling, work instructions, quality control, troubleshoot production issues, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to grow in-house manufacturing capabilities.

Lead multidisciplinary systems engineering for product development: define and manage requirements, develop system architecture and interfaces, perform modeling/simulation and prototyping, provide technical leadership to project teams and clients, ensure safety/reliability/regulatory compliance, and follow information security policies.

Set up and operate 3- and 5-axis CNC machines and lathes independently, interpret complex blueprints and GD&T, make minor G/M code and mechanical adjustments, use precision measuring tools, ensure quality, troubleshoot machining issues, mentor entry-level machinists, and follow safety and company policies.

Design and certify cockpit electronic panels for commercial and military aircraft. Translate requirements into architectures and low-level designs, perform troubleshooting, verification, root cause analysis, lead design reviews, mentor engineers, and own projects across the product lifecycle.

Design, execute, and maintain automated reliability and validation tests for embedded and robotic systems. Instrument hardware, collect telemetry and firmware logs, analyze statistical trends, and report reliability risks. Operate test infrastructure (chambers, analyzers, power rigs) and partner with engineering and failure analysis teams to support mitigation and continuous improvement.

Lead design and implementation of custom control and vision systems. Define requirements, program and commission PLCs, motion controllers, HMIs, robots and drives. Specify components, create wiring diagrams, support enclosure builds, perform FAT/SAT, validate systems to UL/NFPA standards, and mentor junior engineers.

Develop and maintain Python-based automated test software for prototype validation, manufacturing, and system bring-up. Troubleshoot Android and Linux devices, perform fault isolation and root cause analysis, provision and validate hardware, collect and validate test data, maintain lab systems, and collaborate with hardware, firmware, and systems engineers to ensure product quality.

Lead safety and reliability engineering for aerospace products: perform FMEA, fault tree and common-cause analyses, FRACAS support, risk and cybersecurity assessments, apply industry standards and reliability test methods, participate in design reviews, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers.

Lead design, development, analysis, and integration of complex electro-mechanical systems for aerospace products. Provide technical leadership and mentorship, perform advanced stress/thermal/fatigue analyses, manage system architecture and trade studies, oversee validation/qualification testing, create 3D models and drawings (CREO preferred), run root cause investigations, maintain PLM documentation, and collaborate with customers and suppliers to ensure manufacturability and regulatory compliance.
