The Quality Engineer - Metallurgy oversees metallurgical practices, testing, and compliance with aerospace standards by reviewing documentation, analyzing data, and driving improvement initiatives.

Perform accounts payable and receivable tasks, enter daily accounting transactions, reconcile bank and vendor statements, support month-end close, maintain financial records, prepare reports, respond to billing inquiries, and assist with audits and special projects.

Ensure metallurgical integrity and compliance for aerospace metallic materials and special processes. Review certifications and process records, oversee metallurgical testing, support failure investigations, qualify heat treatment and forging processes per NADCAP/AS9100, drive continuous improvement, support audits, and communicate technical findings with customers and suppliers.

Design, test, install, and maintain plant electrical and control systems for mill and auxiliary equipment. Troubleshoot, document schematics, support startups, implement preventative maintenance and spare plans, and create project schedules. Learn and work with RSLogix 5000 and ladder logic to improve process efficiency.
