Manages daily production activities across plant departments while enforcing safety, operating, and quality procedures. Supervises, trains, and develops production employees; supports hiring and performance management; coordinates daily production meetings; troubleshoots manufacturing issues; verifies work orders and product conformity; conducts or supports forklift certification training; and drives process efficiency and continuous improvement. The role is hands-on on the manufacturing floor and may require occasional long hours and weekend work.

The Quality Engineer - Metallurgy oversees metallurgical practices, testing, and compliance with aerospace standards by reviewing documentation, analyzing data, and driving improvement initiatives.

Ensure metallurgical integrity and compliance for aerospace metallic materials and special processes. Review certifications and process records, oversee metallurgical testing, support failure investigations, qualify heat treatment and forging processes per NADCAP/AS9100, drive continuous improvement, support audits, and communicate technical findings with customers and suppliers.
