Leads climate resilience campaigns in Western Colorado by recruiting, training, and supporting volunteers; building coalitions; tracking legislative and regulatory opportunities; organizing events and mobilizations; developing volunteer leadership; and representing Sierra Club with officials, partners, media, and communities. The role advances renewable energy, conservation, climate adaptation funding, and resilient transportation priorities while emphasizing equity, justice, data-informed organizing, and grassroots power building.

Leads Georgia legislative advocacy by developing policy strategies, lobbying elected officials, monitoring legislation, coordinating grassroots mobilization, shaping public messaging, managing coalitions, supporting committees, and supervising interns and contract lobbyists. Represents Sierra Club in legislative, political, media, and coalition settings while ensuring lobbying compliance, managing grants and budgets, and advancing environmental and cultural transformation goals.

Develops and implements grassroots campaign strategies across state and regional initiatives. Leads and coaches organizers, builds volunteer leadership, coordinates partners and coalition stakeholders, tracks campaign metrics, conducts research, and represents the Sierra Club before officials, media, and community organizations. The role integrates organizing, policy, lobbying, communications, and equity-centered community engagement, with frequent evening and weekend work and travel.

Leads major-gift fundraising across the western region by identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding donors capable of gifts of $25,000 or more. Manages a high-potential donor portfolio, builds revenue pipelines, develops solicitation strategies, partners with organizational leadership and campaign teams, and maintains donor records. Requires strong nonprofit fundraising expertise, environmental issue knowledge, communication skills, and extensive travel.

Legal interns support environmental and public interest litigation through legal research, factual investigation, written memoranda, public records requests, document review, discovery, and court attendance. They research potential litigation, collaborate with Sierra Club attorneys, and participate in legal team meetings. Candidates must be current JD students with exceptional writing, research, analytical, interpersonal, organizational, and multitasking skills, plus an interest in environmental or public interest law.
