Teams at Sierra Club

Leads the Oregon Chapter’s fundraising, staff and volunteer management, strategic planning, budgeting, compliance, media relations, outreach, and coalition-building. Builds donor and community relationships, oversees environmental and political programs, supports equity and inclusion objectives, represents the Sierra Club publicly, and coordinates with volunteer leadership and regional staff. Evening and weekend work is often required.

Develops and implements Grand Canyon environmental campaign strategies, recruits and organizes volunteers, engages directly impacted and Indigenous communities, and communicates with media, public, political, and governmental stakeholders. Creates press releases, newsletters, flyers, and social media content while advancing equity, inclusion, and justice initiatives through partnerships and grassroots organizing.

Leads Sierra Club’s organization-wide grassroots organizing culture and capacity strategy. Oversees organizing methodology, training curricula, technology adoption, analytics, cross-departmental partnerships, team management, budgeting, and program evaluation. Develops systems and programs that strengthen chapters, staff, volunteers, and national campaigns while advancing equity-driven environmental and social justice goals.
