Supervise middle school students, maintain a safe and supportive classroom environment, communicate with families and staff, facilitate enrichment programs, and help design activities and events. The role also supports daily operations and administrative tasks. Candidates should have experience working with elementary or middle school students, strong communication and organizational skills, creativity, teamwork, and adaptability. Teaching or youth-programming experience, classroom-management familiarity, and CPR/First Aid certification are preferred.

Supports Lower School art instruction by preparing materials, assisting students, maintaining the art room, photographing student work, and installing artwork displays. Helps with art show setup, visual archiving, studio supply organization, and occasional substitute coverage. The role requires studio art knowledge, experience working with children, familiarity with artistic media and tools, basic technology skills, and flexibility in a collaborative school environment.

Build and manage relationships with major, planned-giving, and Annual Fund donors. Qualify, cultivate, solicit, and close gifts; manage a portfolio of 120+ prospects and conduct 120+ annual donor visits. Develop gift strategies and proposals, engage volunteer solicitors, document moves management activity, oversee stewardship, collaborate with Advancement teams, and meet fundraising goals.

Direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic around the DC campus during arrival, dismissal, and events to ensure safety and reduce congestion. Monitor conditions, report hazards, adapt traffic patterns during emergencies or construction, coordinate with Campus Safety, and provide courteous assistance to students, families, staff, and visitors. Work outdoors in varying weather and stand for extended periods; occasional evenings, weekends, and special events required.

Lead planning, implementation, and measurement of a comprehensive alumni engagement program. Manage signature events, volunteer and committee recruitment, affinity groups, and reunion activities. Use data-driven metrics, collaborate with fundraising colleagues to convert engagement into philanthropic support, and develop alumni-focused student programming. Oversee alumni systems and mentorship platform work. Requires occasional travel and evening/weekend event attendance.

Supervise and support PK–4 students after school: plan and run age-appropriate activities, assist with homework, maintain safety, communicate with parents/staff, ride shuttle and attend events, and perform basic administrative and program upkeep.

Seasonal part-time role running 90-minute Pre-K/K group visits: prepare space, welcome children and parents, lead activities (free play, story time, circle time, 1:1 assessment), observe and evaluate ~10 applicants, complete evaluation forms, and attend occasional recommendation meetings in February.

Provide friendly cafe service at the Fox Den, prepare hot and cold beverages, assist with basic food prep, operate POS, maintain cleanliness, support sales goals and retail cross-promotions, restock and help with inventory, and participate in events to foster community.

Serve as an on-call daily substitute for Pre-K through 4th grade. Implement teachers' lesson plans and routines, maintain a safe, respectful classroom, support academic and social-emotional learning, use positive classroom management, communicate with staff, and leave detailed notes for the lead teacher.
