Lead platform engineering strategy and architecture as the team’s senior individual contributor. Architect release infrastructure, GitOps pipelines, cloud-to-edge platforms, OS image lifecycles, supply-chain security, compliance automation, and internal AI tooling. Mentor engineers, author technical designs, conduct architecture reviews, plan roadmaps, and provide people management when needed. Ensure reliable delivery across cloud, airgapped, embedded, defense, and transportation environments.

Designs and integrates ruggedized electronic enclosures and mechanical installation kits for aerospace and defense platforms. Owns CAD modeling, PLM, production drawings, prototyping, testing, vendor coordination, and hardware lifecycle management. Performs field deployments, fit checks, installations, and integration testing while ensuring compliance with MIL-STD-810, DO-160, and related standards. Translates field findings into design improvements addressing structural, thermal, environmental, fitment, and manufacturability requirements.

Develop and execute automated hardware and software qualification tests across production, environmental compliance, and HIL environments. Build test fixtures and software frameworks, operate laboratory instrumentation, support embedded hardware and firmware integration, troubleshoot failures, and document verification artifacts. Collaborate with hardware, firmware, production, and external qualification laboratories to ensure product reliability, compliance, and test coverage. The role requires up to 20% travel to third-party labs and customer integration sites.

Coordinates recruiting, executive interviews, onboarding, employee programs, HRIS updates, People team projects, documentation, and operational processes. Manages candidate communications, interview logistics, onboarding readiness, employee initiatives, trackers, and follow-ups while supporting the VP of People & Talent. Requires strong organization, communication, discretion, independent judgment, and the ability to work regularly onsite in Rosslyn, Virginia.

Leads systems engineering execution for defense and aerospace platform integrations. Responsibilities include system architecture, requirements and technical baseline management, CDRL artifact development, hardware/software/network integration, verification and validation, risk analysis, and customer technical engagement. The role coordinates cross-functional engineering teams, supports formal design reviews, and ensures compliance with government, safety, airworthiness, and customer requirements. It is based in Rosslyn, Virginia, with approved remote locations and up to 30% travel.

Lead account growth and capture strategy for U.S. Air Force customers: build senior relationships, qualify and mature opportunities, drive capture/proposal/negotiation, coordinate cross-functional teams, influence product strategy, and establish partnerships with primes and system integrators to grow revenue and footprint across Air Force programs.

Design and develop hardware for onboard operational technology, including schematic design, PCB layout, and testing to military standards. Collaborate with teams to analyze and improve designs, ensuring specifications and safety factors are met.
