Cellular programming can reverse aging and age-driven disease phenotypes but is not yet safe for clinical use. Using deep learning, the Shift Bioscience team has solved the major bottleneck in the field – creating a high-accuracy, high-throughput biomarker of aging for rapid discovery of the safe controlling factors. Ultimately, this enables an ‘armada’ of specialised therapeutics targeting the full spectrum of age-driven diseases.
