Part-time Drop-In Case Manager providing trauma-informed, housing-focused case management for individuals using the Drop-In program. Duties include intake, basic needs assistance, developing housing plans, community outreach, referrals, documentation in HMIS, de-escalation, facilitating workshops, driving clients, and collaborating with partners and staff.

Support full grants lifecycle: prospect research, proposal development, submission, reporting, and compliance. Coordinate timelines, manage grant systems and documentation, maintain funder relationships, update Salesforce and grant trackers, assist with implementation, audits, and internal collaboration across programs, finance, and leadership.

Provides remote crisis intervention and advocacy through a 24-hour domestic and sexual violence hotline. Screens callers for shelter eligibility, assesses imminent danger, offers trauma-informed emotional support, safety planning, referrals, and community resources. Documents calls confidentially, coordinates with shelter staff and agencies, attends supervision and training, and maintains reliable communication during scheduled on-call shifts.

Oversee daily operations of Kennedy Emergency Shelter and related programs (Hypothermia, Drop-In, Outreach, Kitchen, Maintenance). Lead staff, ensure compliance with regulations and HMIS, manage budgets and reporting, coordinate crisis response and community partnerships, and represent Shelter House at meetings and events.

Manage end-to-end recruiting, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviews, candidate communication, offers, background checks, I-9s, and onboarding. Maintain HRIS records, personnel files, employee changes, recruiting metrics, compliance documentation, and offboarding support. Partner with hiring managers and support training, engagement initiatives, reporting, and other People & Culture projects while ensuring a positive and equitable candidate and employee experience.

Provide trauma-informed, Housing First case management for 10–20 families across shelter, prevention, and rapid rehousing programs. Conduct needs assessments, create housing plans, connect families to resources, coordinate with landlords and partners, document services in HMIS, and support housing stabilization and discharge planning.

Lead and supervise shelter case management team, carry a caseload at an off-site hotel, develop individualized housing-first plans, coordinate referrals and rental assistance, oversee HMIS documentation and data quality, provide direct support on complex cases and on-call rotations, and collaborate with community partners to secure and maintain permanent housing for participants.

Provide crisis intervention and intensive case management for 6-10 households fleeing domestic violence and related abuses. Assess needs, develop safety and service plans, coordinate with providers, accompany clients to appointments and court, maintain documentation, provide domestic violence education, and support clients exiting shelter.
