Acts as the customer's voice on program teams to manage APQP, PPAP, and launch milestones. Develops FMEA, MSA, SPC, control plans, and inspection/containment strategies; coordinates supplier readiness, run-at-rate, gaging, and customer quality events; drives corrective actions and final PPAP signoff.

Develop, run, and modify CMM programs (Metrologic/PC-DMIS/PolyWorks) to layout and inspect metal and plastic parts and fixtures. Create reports to customer requirements, interpret blueprints and GD&T, troubleshoot programs, train operators, support fixture design reviews, perform calibration support, and assist with prototype manufacturing tasks when needed.

Lead all plant operations including production, quality, maintenance, tool room and manufacturing engineering. Drive safety, compliance with quality standards (TS16949, ISO9001), production scheduling, cost control, continuous improvement (Lean), KPI performance, new program launches, and staff development for a high-mix aluminum extrusion and CNC machining facility.

Operate, program, and set up CNC mills and lathes; read GD&T prints; edit and prove G-code; perform inspections, SPC-based adjustments, backups, and documentation; manage preset room and tooling; drive continuous improvement and support safe, lean manufacturing processes.

Manage plant quality systems and documentation to meet corporate, customer and industry standards (IATF/AIAG). Lead audits, problem-solving (8D, root cause), PPAP/APQP activities, GD&T interpretation, gage R&R, training, supplier/customer issue resolution, and a quality team including staff development and performance management.

Lead customer-facing aerospace manufacturing programs through product realization: manage scope, schedules, risks, budgets, cross-functional teams, quality processes (APQP/AIAG, DFMEA/PFMEA), tooling and launches, and stakeholder communications while mentoring direct reports.

Design and verify new and changed mechanical components and systems for vehicle products. Serve as engineering representative to customer vehicle teams, apply manufacturing and materials fundamentals, and manage communication to meet development timelines. Support DFMEA, PPAP, and vehicle packaging activities for metal parts (BIW, frame).

Prepare and analyze cost accounting records, maintain costing and fixed asset modules, support quoting and job budgets, manage inventory valuation, assist audits, update procedures, and mentor backups.

Lead product development projects as engineering liaison between customers, design, CAE, and manufacturing. Manage CAD/CAE workflows, DFM/GD&T, DFMEA/DVP&R, prototype builds, supplier coordination, APQP/PPAP activities, and mentor junior engineers to support production launches and quality requirements.

Lead and support industrial development and plant launch activities: execute work packages, ensure production readiness and PPAPs, manage tooling and equipment procurement, conduct trials and Run at Rate, support FMEA and KPI tracking, coordinate with program and plant teams, drive continuous improvement and problem resolution to meet safety, quality, cost, and delivery objectives.

Lead cross-functional program teams through product realization. Manage scope, schedules, budgets, engineering changes, supplier and customer interfaces, production readiness, APQP/PPAP compliance, risk mitigation, phase-gate reviews, and supervise/mentor quality and engineering staff.

Lead customer relationships and unify engineering, sales, and program execution to convert advanced-manufacturing capabilities into awarded business. Drive product development from concept to production, pricing, negotiations, strategic growth, and cross-functional accountability while supporting forecasting, profitability analysis, and team development.

Lead and manage manufacturing operations to ensure safety, quality, on-time delivery, productivity, and cost control. Coach and develop staff, implement lean practices (DMAIC, VA/VE), oversee scheduling, inventory, packaging, and service costs, and drive continuous improvement and problem-solving across the facility.

Serve as the customer's quality representative through program phases, driving APQP/PPAP deliverables, supplier readiness, GD&T/DFM activities, corrective actions, audits, and cross-functional coordination to ensure successful product launches and compliance with customer-specific quality requirements.

Manage plant material handling, shipping/receiving, and production flow using PC&L and SES tools. Implement inventory layouts, kanban systems, AMR routes, and Leveling boards; staff, train, and develop the logistics team; monitor performance and drive improvements across plant functions.

Lead aluminum extrusion process optimization across billet loading, extrusion, downstream processing, and heat treatment. Drive continuous improvement, scrap reduction, DOE/SPC-based analysis, new product launches, tooling and capital specification, and mentor extrusion process experts while ensuring safety and compliance (ISO/TS, ITAR). Support quoting, PFMEA, and process maturation.

Lead customer-facing aerospace programs by coordinating customers, engineering, operations, and manufacturing. Manage scope, schedules, risks, documentation (PRP/APQP/PCR/ECN), and reporting. Create issue matrices, assign owners, track actions, coach team members, conduct evaluations, and ensure ITAR compliance while driving execution in a fast-paced environment.

Lead and build a CNC engineering organization to deliver precision machining for aerospace and automotive customers. Own technical roadmap, process development, program launches, quality compliance (AS9100 Rev D), tooling and capital procurement, NPI, and talent development while coordinating transitions to production and managing budgets and KPIs.
