Support and maintain the master rink schedule, coordinate with school departments and external renters, manage scheduling in Follett and CrossBar, communicate updates, assist onsite for large events, and report facility incidents and maintenance concerns.

Coordinate and supervise after-school and break-day programs for PK-5 students, plan and implement enrichment activities, manage schedules and communication with families, faculty, and enrichment providers, and ensure safety and compliance with state clearances. Position is part-time with extended hours during breaks.

Plan and implement weekday middle school after-school program (3:00–6:00pm), supervise 6th–8th graders, provide homework help and safe care, coordinate with Director and school stakeholders, and complete required clearances.

Provide health services to Junior School students during after-school program, in-service days, and breaks. Attend to sick/injured children, administer medications and treatments, maintain medical logs and confidential records, train staff in CPR/EpiPen use, coordinate with school nurse and parents, order supplies, and serve as first responder in emergencies.

Supervise and engage PK–5 students in structured enrichment and unstructured play, lead games and crafts, provide homework help, take attendance and manage dismissals, enforce school behavior policies, maintain program spaces, attend staff meetings/trainings, and keep required clearances current.

Lead institutional storytelling and editorial strategy for Shady Side Academy. Serve as lead writer/editor for high-visibility communications, ghostwrite speeches and announcements, manage flagship publications, coordinate cross-departmental messaging, and oversee project execution using CMS, digital publishing, and project management tools to ensure consistent, mission-aligned communications.
