Provides clerical and customer service support for a foster care homes program. Maintains family and child records in the SFM data management system, manages mail, packets, contact lists, invoices, training reports, and credit card reconciliations. Supports office safety, cleanliness, meetings, confidentiality, compliance, and coverage for other offices. Requires background checks, a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to lift 50 pounds.

Provide lived‑experience insight to shape and improve child welfare and prevention services. Engage families, advise outreach and accessibility, assist during crises, review materials, support fidelity and CQI processes, complete required documentation, follow policies and trainings, and travel to client locations as needed.

Provide case management for children and families: complete assessments, develop and implement case and permanency plans, coordinate services and family meetings, support kinship/foster placements, prepare court reports, participate in court and supervisory meetings, respond to crises, transport clients, and participate in on-call rotations requiring short-notice travel.

Provides hands-on onboarding and ongoing training for new Case Managers and staff needing support. Develops training plans, agendas, evaluations, and program-wide sessions; reviews documentation and case work; observes performance and provides coaching. Partners with supervisors, supports compliance and client protections, serves as a relief Case Manager when needed, participates in on-call coverage, and travels throughout Kansas to deliver training.

Provide front-line customer service and clerical support for the Foster Care Homes program: manage and update family and child records in the SFM data system, process billing and credit card reconciliations, compile training and report data, assist with office maintenance, note-taking, and confidentiality compliance, and complete required background checks and safety-related duties.

Administer and support full-spectrum HR programs including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, investigations, compensation/admin for transfers and hires, HRIS maintenance, compliance with ADA/FMLA and employment laws, unemployment and workers' comp support, policy updates, training programs, and exit interviews. Serve as strategic HR business partner advising leadership and ensuring a positive, compliant work environment.

Provide case management for children and families in the adoption/child welfare system: assess needs, develop and implement case and permanency plans, coordinate services and kinship/foster placements, prepare court documentation and testify, support families and caregivers, respond to crises and on-call incidents, travel statewide for placements and meetings, supervise/transport children, and collaborate with supervisors and partner agencies to achieve permanency outcomes.

Provide clinical leadership and supervision for outpatient mental health services, overseeing psychologists and therapists, assigning referrals and assessments, supporting treatment and crisis planning, participating in hiring and training, coordinating with payors and providers, ensuring compliance, reporting incidents, and supporting practicum/intern supervision.

Leads and manages permanency cases for children and families, performing assessments, developing and monitoring case plans, coordinating services, preparing court reports, facilitating placements (reunification, adoption, kinship), supervising Family Support Workers, providing crisis intervention, on-call response, and ensuring compliance with legal, licensing, and agency requirements.

Lead grant development efforts: identify funding opportunities, write and submit proposals, coordinate cross-functional inputs, manage grants tracking and reporting, ensure post-award compliance, and build funder and community partnerships to support programs serving children, youth, families, and communities.
