Provide financial insight and risk assessment for Scottish colleges and universities. Act as a trusted finance partner, advising institutions, SFC colleagues and government on financial health, governance and compliance. Produce reports, review financial strategies and approvals, represent SFC with external bodies, and support continuous professional development and improvement initiatives.

Lead business analysis for digital transformation: gather and document requirements, analyse processes and data, recommend improvements, support IT to design automated workflows and reporting, and assist project management to deliver KPIs and documentation.

Support implementation and development of the Knowledge Exchange and Innovation Fund (KEIF). Produce guidance and communications, coordinate data collection and analysis, monitor outcomes and impacts, undertake research to inform policy, and engage collaboratively with universities, Scottish Government officials and internal stakeholders to support cross-directorate research and innovation activities.
