Teams at Seven Counties Services

Verifies mental health, intellectual disability, substance abuse, commercial, and Medicare Advantage benefits; obtains and tracks authorizations from intake through discharge; supports retroactive reviews and appeals; communicates authorization needs and status to operations staff; resolves billing issues and updates insurance information. Requires administrative experience, knowledge of managed care, reimbursement concepts, medical terminology, CPT, HCPCS, and revenue codes.

Supervises clinical, prevention, and administrative staff; manages scheduling, performance reviews, hiring, training, programming, budgets, licensing compliance, and personnel issues. Leads treatment and case-review meetings, monitors unit performance, supports community and referral-source relations, and ensures adherence to state and Joint Commission standards. The role also requires clinical assessment, treatment planning, risk assessment, care coordination, trauma-informed treatment, and knowledge of medication-assisted therapy.

Conducts Michelle P. Waiver assessments and reassessments through home visits, documents health and functional information, obtains consents, submits evaluations for level-of-care determinations, and communicates with individuals, families, providers, and case managers. Completes electronic medical record documentation within deadlines and assists applicants with service delivery and case management resources. Frequent travel to clients’ homes is required.
