Engineering intern supporting the Manufacturing Engineering team through process improvement, production data analysis, work instruction updates, lean manufacturing initiatives, and tooling, fixture, and equipment projects. Supports the Manufacturing Engineering team with process improvement, production data analysis, work instructions, manufacturing procedures, lean initiatives, and tooling, fixture, and equipment projects. Collaborates with engineering, quality, and production teams in an aerospace and industrial manufacturing environment while gaining practical engineering experience.

Develop, customize, maintain, and optimize the company’s ERP system. Build workflows, scripts, automations, reports, dashboards, integrations, and data solutions; troubleshoot issues; conduct testing; support upgrades; and maintain documentation. The role collaborates with IT, vendors, Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, and Quality to translate business needs into reliable technical solutions while improving efficiency, data integrity, and reporting.

Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes for machining, assembly, integration, and testing. Provide hands-on production support, troubleshoot issues, perform root-cause analysis, and improve safety, quality, yield, cycle time, and cost. Create manufacturing documentation, process controls, risk assessments, and work instructions; support new product introduction, validation, audits, tooling, automation, and facility projects. Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, and Program Management to ensure compliant, efficient production.

Leads manufacturing process development, optimization, validation, and continuous improvement across production operations. Supports new product introduction, root cause analysis, process controls, capital equipment decisions, capacity planning, audits, and operational readiness. Partners with engineering, quality, supply chain, operations, and leadership teams while mentoring engineers and production personnel. Drives Lean and Six Sigma initiatives to improve safety, quality, delivery, capacity, and cost performance.

Develops and executes master production schedules aligned with demand, materials, capacity, and business priorities. Manages ERP/MRP planning systems, inventory strategy, WIP, replenishment, Kanban, PFEP, and material flow. Analyzes planning and production KPIs, resolves systemic issues, supports S&OP and new product introduction, and leads continuous improvement initiatives. Partners cross-functionally with operations, engineering, quality, procurement, finance, and production control while mentoring planning personnel.
