Lead and run the in-house machine shop, managing fixturing, toolpaths, tooling, and shop organization; design and machine fixtures; set tool and work offsets; collaborate with engineering to optimize parts for manufacturability.

Design, iterate, test, and build mechanical systems for a counter-UAS turret. Redesign current components to reduce cost, time, and complexity; create part and assembly models in Fusion 360; ensure manufacturability for CNC and additive processes; collaborate with manufacturing and support field testing and demos.

Design, implement, and tune closed-loop gimbal control systems; build state estimation and target-leading algorithms for an autonomous turret. Work includes testing at ranges and integrating controls with the turret platform.

Design and own turret electronics including motor drives, power distribution, PCBs, wiring harnesses, control bus, and sensor integration. Ensure hardened, repairable field systems and enable low-latency networked control; support testing and demos.
