The Staff Accountant manages financial records and transactions, supports accounts payable and receivable, maintains fixed asset records, reconciles accounts, prepares journal entries and financial reports, and assists with month-end, year-end, and audit activities. The role ensures compliance with GAAP, company policies, and internal controls while contributing to process improvements, system implementations, and financial analysis.

Supports accounting operations during peak periods and special projects in manufacturing. Responsibilities include processing and coding vendor invoices, matching purchase orders and receiving records, reconciling credit card statements, preparing journal entries and accruals, assisting with financial statements, maintaining internal controls, and collaborating with operations and production teams on reporting.

Supports plant safety programs through employee orientation, compliance training, written program maintenance, inspections, incident and near-miss investigations, corrective actions, workers’ compensation claims, PPE inventory, and safety committee activities. Ensures compliance with OSHA, NFPA, ANSI, DOT, and applicable regulations while promoting continuous improvement and a strong safety culture in a manufacturing environment.

Supervises quality assurance activities across three shifts in a food manufacturing plant. Manages SQF and certification programs, audits, food safety systems, environmental monitoring, pest control, supplier and customer complaints, corrective actions, hold/release procedures, and regulatory compliance. Leads root-cause investigations, plant inspections, training, process improvements, and QA technician development. Serves as primary SQF practitioner when management is unavailable.

Analyzes supply chain, demand, forecasting, cost, productivity, and logistics data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities. Develops KPI dashboards and scorecards, validates customer and internal forecasts, supports production planning and resource allocation, evaluates raw material pricing, and provides data-driven recommendations to leadership. Collaborates with sales, production, operations, and other departments to improve efficiency, fulfillment, cost effectiveness, and process reliability while supporting continuous improvement and safety initiatives.

The Business Development Manager identifies and pursues new B2B opportunities, builds relationships with decision-makers, develops proposals, negotiates agreements, and meets revenue targets. The role involves prospecting, networking, trade shows, CRM pipeline tracking, market and competitive analysis, forecasting, and coordinating account handoffs to Account Managers. Travel exceeds 40%, with regular business hours plus on-call and weekend availability.

Coordinates milk transportation logistics between producers, customers, and haulers. Maintains production, pickup, receiving, inventory, and shipment records; submits schedules and reports; reconciles missing information; resolves transportation issues; and supports supply distribution. The role requires customer and supplier communication, accurate data management, Excel proficiency, reporting, problem-solving, rotating weekend work, and on-call availability.

Leads facility-wide continuous improvement initiatives to improve operational efficiency, reduce waste and shrink, enhance quality, and strengthen financial performance. Facilitates PIT and PDCA teams, analyzes operational data, manages KPIs, conducts root cause analysis and process mapping, and leads projects from concept through completion. Partners with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and Finance while coaching employees and managers, managing change, and promoting a culture of operational excellence.

Provide technical support, configure and maintain PLCs, HMIs, VFDs and SCADA systems; implement control projects; optimize alarms and operator interfaces; train users; maintain servers, networks, and interfaces; repair instruments; act as maintenance lead when needed.

Manage customer and supplier communications, verify labels and incoming receipts, update manufacturing records and formulas, maintain ingredient files and NLEA/SFP panels in Genesis, support supplier approvals, create/update specification workbooks and MMRs, and back up plant document control.

Manage planning, development, support, and enhancement of business applications and ERP. Lead and coach applications/development team, oversee integrations, reporting, data governance, vendor relationships, and SDLC from requirements through deployment and operations.

Perform production-line tasks to produce powdered dairy and nutrition products: operate packaging and filling equipment, dump and weigh batches, maintain sanitation and documentation, follow food safety and GMP, palletize and stack product, train new workers, and support safety and quality procedures on assigned shift.

Support and cover production line operations, train and cross-train operators, perform operator tasks (bagging, sealing, stacking, dumping, sampling, placing lids/scoops), ensure product handling and quality, and act as Line Leader in their absence.

Lead and oversee a production line crew, ensure GMP and safety compliance, verify batch paperwork and lot tracking, coordinate packaging and materials, perform inspections (scales, metal detectors, seals), operate/palletize and forklift if certified, train new operators, troubleshoot equipment issues, complete production records and yield calculations, and maintain a clean organized workstation.
