Supervise daily butter room operations and production schedule. Ensure product quality, sanitation, audits, and inventory accuracy. Manage equipment maintenance, review losses, train and schedule staff, approve payroll, and participate on Food Safety and Food Quality teams.

Oversee and support daily dairy plant operations including receiving, separators, pasteurizers, evaporators, dryer, butter and packaging. Ensure sanitation, GMP, CIP logs, sampling, equipment operation and minor maintenance. Train staff, enforce safety and company policies, assist quality troubleshooting, and support understaffed departments and continuous improvement efforts.

Lead analytical and microbiological testing of raw, pasteurized, and finished dairy products. Operate and maintain lab instruments, perform quality audits, prepare media and solutions, record and report results, train QA staff, assist equipment calibration/troubleshooting, and ensure compliance with USDA/FDA/GMP/GFSI and Pasteurized Milk Ordinance. Serve as FSQA Supervisor backup.

Lead and oversee a production line crew, ensure GMP and safety compliance, verify batch paperwork and lot tracking, coordinate packaging and materials, perform inspections (scales, metal detectors, seals), operate/palletize and forklift if certified, train new operators, troubleshoot equipment issues, complete production records and yield calculations, and maintain a clean organized workstation.

Support and cover production line operations, train and cross-train operators, perform operator tasks (bagging, sealing, stacking, dumping, sampling, placing lids/scoops), ensure product handling and quality, and act as Line Leader in their absence.

Manage customer and supplier communications, verify labels and incoming receipts, update manufacturing records and formulas, maintain ingredient files and NLEA/SFP panels in Genesis, support supplier approvals, create/update specification workbooks and MMRs, and back up plant document control.

Lead laboratory QA activities for raw, pasteurized, and finished dairy products. Perform analytical and microbiological testing, audits, data entry, equipment calibration, HACCP and GMP reviews, train technicians, support investigations and environmental monitoring, and manage lab supplies and reporting to ensure regulatory compliance and product quality.

Support supplier quality program by managing supplier documentation in TraceGains, performing supplier risk assessments and audits (virtual and in-person), responding to supplier alerts, assisting with CAPA, GMP inspections, and food fraud assessments, and helping ensure supplier compliance and continuous improvement.

Perform production-line tasks to produce powdered dairy and nutrition products: operate packaging and filling equipment, dump and weigh batches, maintain sanitation and documentation, follow food safety and GMP, palletize and stack product, train new workers, and support safety and quality procedures on assigned shift.
