Work may involve new product introduction, production support, and special projects in a composite manufacturing environment. The role requires attention to detail, independent work, meeting coordination, confidentiality, and compliance with workplace safety, drug screening, background screening, and ITAR export-control requirements.

Supports aerospace manufacturing and quality engineering activities through research, data entry, recordkeeping, report preparation, process documentation, data analysis, and meeting coordination. The role includes shadowing department staff and contributing to new product introduction, production support, and special projects. Work occurs in a manufacturing environment with required PPE, physical activity, and exposure to noise and industrial hazards. Applicants must meet ITAR U.S. Person requirements and complete drug and background screenings.

Develops and improves composite aerospace manufacturing processes, tooling, equipment, work instructions, and bills of materials. Provides shop-floor support, establishes statistical process controls, designs fixtures and inspection tools, qualifies processes and equipment, and implements Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen improvements. The role requires CAD proficiency, GD&T knowledge, composite fabrication expertise, safety and FMEA analysis, industrial engineering fundamentals, and collaboration on new product introduction.
