Supervise manufacturing engineering activities for composite aerospace products. Lead and mentor engineers, develop and improve processes, tooling, equipment, work instructions, and bills of materials, and provide shop-floor support. Apply statistical methods, Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, FMEA, TPM, and industrial engineering practices to improve quality and productivity. Review engineering specifications, establish process qualification plans, and support new product introduction and composite fabrication.

Performs composite-material lay-up and wrapping on mandrels according to manufacturing plans and Standard Work Instructions. Verifies materials, documentation, part identification, and completed work, while reporting discrepancies and meeting production schedules and takt-time requirements. Works under close supervision in an industrial production environment involving PPE, noise, hazardous equipment, lifting, bending, and extended standing or walking.

Performs composite-material lay-up and lamination on mandrels according to manufacturing plans, drawings, and Standard Work Instructions. Verifies materials, documentation, part identification, and completed work while meeting production schedules and takt-time requirements. Works under close supervision in an indoor manufacturing environment involving PPE, noise, hazardous equipment, contaminants, lifting, and extended periods of standing or walking.
