Teams at Seismic Works

Coordinates vehicles, personnel, equipment distribution, inventories, maintenance, crew communications, production quality, safety, logs, transmittals, and job planning in remote rotational locations. Requires map-reading, leadership, problem-solving, computer, and communication skills, along with a valid driver’s license and authorization to work in the region.

Operates seismic blasting equipment and explosives, verifies charge locations, connects charges to recording equipment, and coordinates detonations with Observers. Trains and monitors shooter helpers, maintains blasting operations, communicates with field personnel, and may assist line crews. Requires seismic acquisition experience, recent shooter or driller-helper experience, blasting certification, driver’s license, quad certification, legal work authorization, and willingness to travel.

Implement and maintain project and site HSE requirements for seismic field operations. Coordinate client-specific procedures, monitor compliance with legislation, document hazards and incidents, maintain HSE records, coordinate return-to-work activities, and conduct onsite training, emergency exercises, and toolbox talks.
