Provides legal leadership and daily oversight for SECU’s legal department, supporting the Chief Legal Officer and advising management on contracts, regulatory matters, litigation, policies, complaints, and compliance risks. The role researches legal developments, reviews and drafts documents, manages outside counsel, supports organizational initiatives, and partners with compliance, risk, BSA, and credit union stakeholders. It also supervises legal staff and promotes legal and compliance awareness across the organization.

Processes and investigates ACH transaction disputes, stop payments, EFTs, and government reclamations. Resolves member escalations, prepares dispute correspondence, processes Federal Reserve and EPN adjustments, and supports reconciliation and settlement. The role requires compliance with NACHA, Federal regulations, BSA, OFAC, the USA PATRIOT Act, Fair Lending, and information security requirements. It also supports ACH testing, audit requests, ODFI follow-ups, and cross-department issue resolution.

Manage organizational projects from inception through implementation for SECU’s Transformation and Optimization division. Responsibilities include creating project charters and plans, coordinating budgets, requirements, testing, governance, and implementation, tracking milestones, managing risks and issues, reporting progress to senior leaders, and ensuring regulatory and policy compliance. The role requires cross-divisional collaboration, stakeholder communication, documentation, and adherence to project management frameworks.

Administer and support procurement, learning, and related business systems. Responsibilities include user access management, workflow and configuration updates, monitoring, backups, patching, incident troubleshooting, integrations, reporting, security controls, documentation, vendor coordination, and continuous improvement across enterprise and hybrid cloud environments.

Manages foreclosure, OREO, loss mitigation, bankruptcy, and real estate collections operations. Supervises and develops staff, handles escalated member issues, oversees investor and regulatory compliance, reviews delinquent loans, recommends workout and recovery strategies, manages foreclosure vendors and legal partners, validates claims and reporting, maintains workflows and procedures, and supports audits and departmental projects.

Provide personalized investment and financial planning advice to members, determine suitability of recommendations, grow and protect assets, prospect new clients, engage in community outreach, and comply with SEC/FINRA and BSA/OFAC regulations.

Analyze paid media, email, SEO/SEM, and digital campaign performance; build dashboards (CPA, ROAS, conversion rates); run A/B and incrementality tests; support attribution and budget allocation; derive member and market insights; present executive-ready reports and recommendations to optimize acquisition, retention, and product usage.

Manage and coordinate SECU's BSA governance program including policies, playbooks, document repository, risk assessment, testing, audit/exam facilitation, training, remediation, monitoring, reporting, and vendor/system access reviews while supporting projects and fostering organizational compliance culture.
