Provides intensive case management to individuals and families experiencing poverty, unemployment, substance abuse, mental health, and other barriers. Conducts assessments, develops family-centered goals, monitors progress, coordinates services, advocates for clients, and collaborates with community providers including jails, prisons, and mental health agencies. Requires independent work, case conferencing, community resource navigation, and flexible support for families in crisis.

Assists Head Start teachers with curriculum implementation, classroom preparation, child supervision, housekeeping, parent engagement, and maintaining a safe, supportive learning environment. Participates in approved training and supports children from diverse backgrounds. Requires a high school diploma or GED, preschool experience, communication skills, health clearance, and a background check under New York State and federal childcare regulations.

Supports agency operations through data collection, data entry, monthly reporting, office administration, reception supervision, purchasing, scheduling, training coordination, and executive support. The role maintains efficient office systems, handles confidential information, supports department leadership, manages reception coverage, and assists with employee orientations and agency initiatives.
