Schenectady Community Action Program (SCAP) is a community-based nonprofit focused on helping people of all ages move out of poverty. It develops lasting solutions through resource navigation, homelessness prevention, housing, career readiness, employment support, advocacy, and early-childhood education, including Head Start, Early Head Start, childcare partnerships, and universal pre-kindergarten, while collaborating with local health, education, legal, and community partners.
