This hands-on player-coach role builds scalable talent processes, develops the recruiting and HR team, advises executives and managers, and personally handles strategic hiring and complex people matters.

Lead Sardine’s fraud product portfolio, setting vision and roadmap across device intelligence, behavioral biometrics, and machine learning. Manage product managers and partner with engineering, data science, risk operations, marketing, and sales. Drive fraud detection performance, reduce false positives and customer friction, monitor emerging threats, and scale zero-to-one products into enterprise-ready solutions for payment and fraud-prevention customers.

Lead client onboarding and end-to-end integrations for fraud and compliance products. Analyze technical and functional requirements, design scalable solutions, manage implementation projects, maintain API and SDK documentation, support clients throughout deployment, mitigate risks, and coordinate deliverables across internal and external technical teams. Provide product feedback based on customer needs and use SQL, JSON, APIs, scripting, and web development tools to build integrations and internal solutions.

Serve as a technical advisor to prospective customers, supporting Account Executives with fraud and compliance discovery, customized product demonstrations, RFPs, security reviews, and solution designs. Collaborate with Product and Engineering to improve Sardine’s platform and sales processes. Communicate complex technical and business concepts to global clients and contribute to revenue growth in a remote-first environment.

Own integration program plans for complex enterprise engagements, including milestones, dependencies, timelines, feature requests, governance, RACI structures, communications, and project-health reporting. Serve as the primary client contact, coordinate Engineering, Product, Integrations, and Solutions teams, manage risks and expectations, and provide technical insight to help prioritize and resolve client needs across concurrent engagements.

Conduct applied research on foundation models for real-time fraud detection using large-scale behavioral and sequential data. Design experiments, benchmarks, holdouts, and monitoring systems; develop models from data preparation through deployment; and optimize training and inference efficiency. Collaborate with engineering, client-facing teams, legal, compliance, and customers to productionize models and establish explainability, governance, and risk documentation.

Own procurement as the company’s first in-house buyer, managing sourcing, vendor relationships, negotiations, contracts, renewals, and purchasing decisions across software, IT, marketing, travel, events, and professional services. Build procurement processes, improve spend visibility, drive savings, guide stakeholders, and coordinate vendor security, privacy, and contract-risk reviews with Finance, Legal, and Security.

Lead frontend design and delivery of AI product experiences using React and TypeScript, mentor engineers, set frontend standards, use AI-assisted tooling, and contribute to backend services in Go and product roadmaps.

Own new business sales for Sardine’s crypto vertical, targeting exchanges, wallets, custodians, on/off-ramps, stablecoin issuers, and blockchain ecosystems. Build pipeline through conferences and industry relationships, lead multi-stakeholder discovery, position integrated fraud and compliance solutions, and structure and close complex multi-module platform deals. The role requires crypto-specific buyer relationships, fluency in AML, KYC/KYB, and sanctions, collaboration with executives and Solutions Engineering, and frequent travel to conferences and client sites.

Manage strategic enterprise accounts for a fraud, payments, and compliance platform. Responsibilities include owning customer relationships, driving expansion and upsell opportunities, leading implementations and go-lives, providing technical fraud and compliance advisory, monitoring performance KPIs, and partnering with solutions, data, engineering, and product teams. The role requires fluent Portuguese, English, and Spanish, extensive B2B SaaS account management experience, and expertise in payments, fraud, crypto, or compliance within the Brazilian market.

Advise clients on fraud, compliance, payments, and risk best practices; explain complex product and technology concepts; coordinate solutions with internal teams; monitor and communicate KPIs; analyze fraud typologies; and support strategic customer expansion while maximizing product ROI.

Lead end-to-end data and ML pipelines for onboarding and fraud decisions: ingest streaming and batch sources, build feature platform and entity resolution, productionize ML models, enforce PII/data governance, and set technical direction while mentoring engineers and ensuring low-latency, reliable serving.

Manage key customer accounts and ensure satisfaction by maximizing ROI from Sardine's fraud prevention products, while collaborating with internal teams.

Build and own platform infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and observability; implement FinOps governance and cost optimization; enable developer productivity via internal tooling; define SLOs and improve system reliability while collaborating with security, finance, and product teams.

Lead Sardine's federal GTM: build and qualify pipeline, manage capture cycles through contract award, engage agency stakeholders and SIs, coordinate demos with solutions engineering, maintain Salesforce pipeline, and represent the company at federal industry events.

Lead and scale a Support Engineering team handling complex API and payments issues, own incident response and SLAs, build operational processes, drive metrics and automation, partner cross-functionally, and hire and develop team members.
