Processes student payments, refunds, scholarships, financial aid disbursements, invoices, account adjustments, and receivables. Reconciles student accounts, monitors payment plans and financial obligations, maintains accurate records, prepares spreadsheets, and assists students with financial matters. Provides cashiering and administrative support while ensuring compliance with FERPA, confidentiality requirements, college policies, and applicable regulations.

Manages college payroll operations, including payroll processing, deductions, benefits, taxes, garnishments, retirement contributions, reconciliations, audits, regulatory reporting, and year-end W-2 processes. Ensures compliance with federal and state laws, maintains payroll controls and systems, resolves sensitive payroll issues, supports HRIS configuration and improvements, and supervises payroll staff. Provides employee guidance, training, reporting, and coordination with accounting, finance, IT, and other college departments.

Provides accounting support across accounts payable, travel, payroll, general ledger, and reconciliation functions. Reviews and processes transactions, prepares calculations and reports, maintains records, researches variances, and ensures compliance with institutional, state, and federal regulations. The role also supports employees with transaction questions, maintains procedures, uses Excel and college ERP systems, and provides backup front-office coverage.

Provides faculty instruction, coaching, and technical support for learning management systems, accessibility tools, and other academic technologies. Develops training curricula and workshops for face-to-face, hybrid, and online instruction; manages LMS courses, accounts, and enrollments; analyzes institutional needs and technology usage data; supports course design improvements; prepares reports; and collaborates on instructional design, video production, assessment, and technology best practices.

Designs and evaluates online, hybrid, and classroom instructional materials and courses. Supports faculty through consultations, professional development, course reviews, technology recommendations, and guidance on learning outcomes and teaching strategies. Maintains Canvas sites and accessible online resources, researches instructional best practices, evaluates educational technologies including AI applications, and contributes to faculty orientation, special projects, and college service activities.

The Educational Aide in the Teaching Zoo Commissary prepares animal diets, manages inventory, maintains cleanliness, and supports zoo staff while ensuring compliance with regulations.
