Lead full-cycle HR for a San Diego nonprofit: recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, benefits administration, performance management, HR policy and compliance (federal and California), HRIS (Paycom) oversight, compensation benchmarking, learning and development, employee relations coaching, supervise HR Coordinator, and partner with senior leadership on strategic workforce planning.

Provide administrative support to a Staff Attorney at the North County Family Justice Center: screen and intake clients, maintain client and volunteer records, coordinate volunteers and trainings, assist with client services and translations, travel locally for court filings and document delivery, and perform other administrative tasks to support pro bono legal services for victims of abuse.

Provide legal advice and representation in family law and HIV-related matters, supervise and train pro bono attorneys, non-attorney staff, and interns; conduct outreach and recruit volunteers; manage a small caseload, compile data and reports, and refer clients to other services as needed.

Perform day-to-day and month-end accounting including GL maintenance, reconciliations, AP/AR, payroll support, bank reconciliations, journal entries, grant and restricted fund tracking, audit/tax support, and financial reporting to ensure compliance with GAAP and donor requirements.

Provide transactional legal counsel to low-income entrepreneurs, microbusinesses, and nonprofits; recruit, train, and supervise pro bono attorneys and non‑attorney staff; coordinate clinics and community outreach; manage data and grant deliverables; deliver legal education and support SDVLP program goals.
