Provides administrative and legal support to staff attorneys serving victims of abuse. Duties include client intake and eligibility screening, maintaining records and files, preparing documents, coordinating volunteers and trainings, interpreting Spanish and English, and filing or delivering legal documents. Requires in-office work across two San Diego locations and regular court-related travel.

Provide legal advice and limited representation in restraining order matters, supervise and train pro bono attorneys and non-attorney staff, conduct outreach and recruitment, maintain caseload and program data, and develop training materials across multiple clinic locations.

Lead full-cycle HR for a San Diego nonprofit: recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, benefits administration, performance management, HR policy and compliance (federal and California), HRIS (Paycom) oversight, compensation benchmarking, learning and development, employee relations coaching, supervise HR Coordinator, and partner with senior leadership on strategic workforce planning.
