Lead full-cycle HR for a San Diego nonprofit: recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, benefits administration, performance management, HR policy and compliance (federal and California), HRIS (Paycom) oversight, compensation benchmarking, learning and development, employee relations coaching, supervise HR Coordinator, and partner with senior leadership on strategic workforce planning.

Supervise SDVLP’s Microbusiness and Nonprofit Support Program, overseeing pro bono attorney delivery, supervising staff attorney and volunteers, developing program policies, conducting outreach and clinics, tracking outcomes, and supporting strategic growth and grant reporting. Minimal direct client representation; focus on program leadership and volunteer supervision.

Provide legal advice and representation in family law and HIV-related matters, supervise and train pro bono attorneys, non-attorney staff, and interns; conduct outreach and recruit volunteers; manage a small caseload, compile data and reports, and refer clients to other services as needed.
