Designs, develops, tests, secures, and supports scalable integrations between an ecommerce SaaS platform and external systems such as ERP, CRM, payment, and shipping platforms. Responsibilities include API architecture and design, client customization, troubleshooting, documentation, versioning, performance optimization, authentication, and cross-functional collaboration. The role also mentors junior team members and evaluates emerging integration technologies.

Own Salla’s catalog strategy, roadmap, data quality, taxonomy, AI enrichment, configuration-based category setup, and downstream product-data performance. Lead improvements to merchant data creation, imports, variants, identifiers, matching, and external channel compliance. Define quality metrics, partner with search, storefront, marketplace, and data teams, and manage 2–3 product managers while maintaining hands-on product leadership.

Own Salla’s event taxonomy, tracking plans, schemas, identity model, and instrumentation validation. Design data models and transformation pipelines, enforce data quality, maintain warehouse documentation and lineage, and improve self-service analytics. Partner with Product, Engineering, analytics, and business teams to drive instrumentation adoption, resolve data issues, and improve developer experience. The role requires expertise in event platforms, product analytics, SQL, dbt, high-volume warehouses, streaming architecture, privacy, identity resolution, and cross-platform behavioral data.

Create clear, concise UX content for Salla’s e-commerce platform, including UI copy, onboarding flows, guidance, notifications, emails, and product content. Collaborate with product managers and designers in Figma to simplify complex experiences, support user and business goals, and maintain consistent Arabic and English brand voice across merchant-facing touchpoints.

Design, build, and operate scalable, highly available backend services for fintech checkout, payments, promotions, loyalty, and pricing. Drive architecture, optimize performance across databases, caches, queues and background workers, ensure observability and testing, mentor engineers, and support full lifecycle from design through production.

Lead the analytics vision for the data platform: unify semantic models, build and validate merchant-facing reports, define documentation and governance standards, ensure data quality, and partner with product and engineering to enable accurate growth analysis.

Lead definition and delivery of Salla's enterprise segment: define enterprise requirements, own roadmap and packaging, run discovery with large merchants, and act as single product owner for a dedicated engineering pod to ship multi-storefront, headless/API-first, multi-market, and enterprise-grade capabilities while protecting platform reuse and measuring enterprise success metrics.

Lead analytics for a product area end-to-end: define KPIs, design and analyse A/B tests, monitor launches, validate tracking, build dashboards, diagnose performance, and recommend product changes. Partner with PMs, engineers, designers, and the data team while mentoring junior analysts and influencing product decisions using SQL, BI tools, and Python/R.

Lead enterprise security strategy and operations across cloud, network, endpoint, physical, IAM, SecOps, and GRC. Build and scale a multidisciplinary security organization, run incident response and audits, embed secure-by-default controls, manage third-party risk, and prepare security posture for regulatory readiness and public listing. Serve as principal security advisor to executive leadership and Board.

Lead product strategy and execution for Salla's expansion across GCC markets: diagnose signup-to-first-order drop-off, deliver payments/KYC and localization solutions, decide per-market vs shared product scope, build measurement frameworks, and coordinate cross-functional teams to drive activation, retention, and scalable market-entry infrastructure.

Own and optimize the end-to-end merchant lifecycle—acquisition through retention—by designing stages, segmentation, triggers, and personalized campaigns across email, WhatsApp, push, and in-app. Build and run experiments, connect multi-source data for dynamic content, scale personalization with AI, and report stage-conversion and retention outcomes.
