Build production AI agent systems for healthcare workflows such as scheduling and medication refills. Develop orchestration, tool-use, conversation-state, recovery, evaluation, and ML pipelines. Analyze production conversations, identify failures, create evaluation datasets, measure agent quality, and improve reliability across models and prompts. Partner with research to productionize techniques while balancing quality, latency, and cost.

Build and scale the real-time backend platform powering AI voice agents. Responsibilities include designing session state and workflow runtimes, model orchestration, concurrency and reliability systems, Rust migration, performance troubleshooting, service boundary design, load testing, observability, and production readiness across healthcare partners.

Own full lifecycle of Epic and other EHR integrations: identify read/write APIs, architect scalable integration frameworks, collaborate with partners, product, and ML teams, and drive projects from discovery to launch.

Build analytics infrastructure, pipelines, and dashboards to surface metrics from the matching pipeline. Design and implement new metrics and offline analysis tooling to assess product performance and improve algorithm quality, collaborating with engineering and business teams.

Design, build, and own a scalable, HIPAA-compliant data management system that fetches partner data (e.g., EPIC), extracts semantic knowledge, summarizes provider notes, and provides user-facing UI for viewing and updating data to power provider matching, scheduling, and recommendation products.

Own and evolve cloud infrastructure for an AI-driven healthcare platform: design GCP/Terraform infrastructure, manage GKE clusters, improve CI/CD and Bazel builds, implement observability and SLIs/SLOs, harden security for HIPAA/SOC2, and drive reliability and deployment safety across environments.

The role involves building and improving AI voice features, debugging issues, and collaborating with product teams to enhance user experience.

The DevOps Engineer will architect and maintain cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and Kubernetes systems, ensuring performance, security, and scalability for Sage Care's AI healthcare platform.

Lead end-to-end product design as the first full-time designer: run user research with clinical staff, prototype quickly (including in-code), craft polished, trustworthy interfaces for AI-assisted care navigation, own brand and marketing assets, and partner with founders, product, and engineering to set vision, roadmap, and iterate rapidly.
