The role coordinates with customer success, marketing, and area sales leadership; manages onboarding, CRM documentation, referral engagement, and data-driven growth initiatives. This field-based position requires regular regional travel and residence near Charlotte or Raleigh, North Carolina.

Owns territory sales performance for an ophthalmic medical technology product across the Southeast. Develops account plans, drives adoption and same-store growth, manages customer onboarding, conducts business reviews, analyzes clinical and commercial data, builds referral networks, and coordinates with customer success, sales, and marketing teams. The field-based role requires regular regional travel and collaboration with ophthalmic practices, surgeons, and ambulatory surgery centers.

Develop and validate next-generation intraocular lenses and ophthalmic optical systems. Responsibilities include optical design, wavefront analysis, optical metrology, multiphysics and finite element modeling, experimental characterization, data analysis, and product verification. The engineer will correlate simulations with laboratory and clinical data, support medical device design controls and regulatory documentation, troubleshoot product performance, and collaborate with multidisciplinary R&D, quality, suppliers, and external laboratories.

Supports SEC reporting and technical accounting activities, including preparation of 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, proxy, and related filings. Prepares stock-based compensation journal entries, reconciliations, equity schedules, EPS calculations, disclosure checklists, and XBRL tagging reviews. The role researches accounting standards, supports SOX compliance, coordinates reporting deadlines, collaborates with auditors and internal stakeholders, and monitors FASB, SEC, and PCAOB developments.
