Supports actuarial reserving and pricing processes, cleanses and analyzes data using SQL and Excel, investigates data issues, assists with process optimization, and contributes to special projects. The intern collaborates with the Actuarial team, participates in meetings, and gains experience applying mathematical skills to commercial insurance risk assessment.

Handles complex management liability and D&O claims from investigation through resolution. Responsibilities include evaluating coverage, liability, litigation exposure, reserves, and action plans; coordinating with insureds, defense and coverage counsel; reviewing legal documents and motion practice; attending mediations and trials; and reporting recommendations to claims leadership. Requires substantial D&O claims expertise, legal and analytical skills, an adjuster’s license, strong communication, and knowledge of claims handling and civil procedures.
