The role requires strong automation experience, platform proficiency, team leadership, daily Dublin office attendance, an Irish driver’s license, and frequent travel across Ireland and Europe.

Assists experienced engineers with customer automation projects spanning instrumentation, electrical design, system configuration, software and hardware integration, and onsite startup. Responsibilities include creating instrument lists, preparing procurement documentation, configuring HMIs, PLCs, DCS, databases, and IT equipment, supporting testing and demonstrations, troubleshooting field installations, and preparing training materials. The intern works collaboratively with project teams and may interact with customers.

Leads the technical delivery of customer automation projects, including system architecture, control strategy, programming, equipment and instrumentation selection, electrical panel design, system testing, customer communication, and technical team leadership. Supports project managers with scope changes and financial change orders, and travels to client sites for meetings and system verification.

Oversee field operations and subcontractors for automation construction projects at customer sites. Responsibilities include team leadership, instrumentation and electrical design support, commissioning coordination, project scheduling, procurement tracking, quality control, scope and change management, site reporting, equipment handoff, and engineering team logistics. The role may require up to 100% travel, with long-term assignments at project locations.

Designs and implements customer automation projects under experienced engineering supervision. Responsibilities include instrumentation and electrical design, control hardware documentation, panel inspection, system configuration, HMI and PLC/DCS programming, system documentation, customer demonstrations, acceptance testing, onsite installation, startup, troubleshooting, field modifications, and user training materials. Requires an engineering degree and professional-level English; Dutch and industrial automation platform experience are preferred.
