Supports daily shelter operations by assisting guests with basic needs, explaining program requirements, coordinating beds and routines, monitoring facility safety, de-escalating stressful situations, communicating with guests and service partners, documenting incidents and shift activities, and completing housekeeping and training duties. The role uses trauma-informed, person-centered, low-barrier, and Housing First approaches while serving people experiencing homelessness.

Provide case management to approximately 20 men transitioning from homelessness into housing. Support employment, benefits applications, life skills, healthcare and mental health referrals, crisis intervention, stabilization, and connection to community resources. Maintain participant records, assessments, progress plans, and demographic data in the NC Homeless Management Information System while ensuring compliance with community guidelines.
