The Chief Talent Officer leads Rocketship Public Schools’ enterprise talent and HR strategy across talent acquisition, organizational effectiveness, employee relations, performance management, rewards, HR systems, and compliance. The role transforms recruiting and employee lifecycle systems, strengthens manager effectiveness and performance culture, oversees workforce analytics and Workday data, and partners with regional and school leaders across four regions. Regular nationwide travel is required, with an expected 40–60% travel commitment during the first year.

Leads a Milwaukee regional network of elementary charter schools, directly managing principals and regional academic and student-services leaders. Drives student achievement, school culture, parent engagement, inclusion, behavior support, operations, compliance, enrollment, professional development, vendor management, and regional initiatives. Coaches leaders, strengthens school systems, partners with network teams and community stakeholders, and ensures schools meet academic, operational, and organizational goals.

Provides small-group and one-on-one English language development, literacy, and math interventions for multilingual elementary students. Uses ELPAC and other assessment data to monitor progress, plan instruction, and develop action plans. Collaborates with teachers and school leaders through push-in, pull-out, and co-teaching models, while communicating student progress to families and supporting integrated language development across the school.

Supervise elementary students during lunch, recess, bus transportation, arrival, and dismissal. Enforce school safety and behavioral procedures, report unsafe conditions, assist with minor custodial tasks, support daily school operations, and attend required meetings and training.

Manages recruiting funnels, analytics, dashboards, events, referrals, internal talent pathways, offers, preboarding, and early retention. Uses hiring data to improve sourcing effectiveness, candidate experience, time-to-fill, offer acceptance, and retention outcomes.

Lead observation cycles, co-plan units and lessons, provide real-time coaching, manage special education and enrichment collaboration, build parent partnerships, shape school culture, run professional development, and prepare to transition into a Principal role.
