Build and maintain backend services, multi-tenant data models, GraphQL and REST APIs, AI-powered claims workflows, asynchronous processing, and enterprise integrations. The role involves PostgreSQL data modeling, Redis/BullMQ background jobs, authentication and authorization, tenant isolation, observability, testing, reliability, and performance improvements. The engineer will influence architecture, review code, collaborate with product and engineering, and own backend capabilities from problem definition through production.

Lead end-to-end product design for a new AI-powered claims product: run lean discovery, prototype and ship workflows, create IA and interaction patterns, partner with founders and engineers, and establish reusable patterns while using AI tools to accelerate research and UX writing.
