Supports production engineering on the factory floor by troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues; updating work instructions; standardizing assembly processes; documenting quality findings; supporting new product introductions; preparing workstations; conducting time studies; maintaining tools and fixtures; and participating in 5S, standard work, Kaizen, ESD, and safety initiatives.

Design, train, optimize, and deploy deep learning models for real-time radar detection, segmentation, classification, and tracking. Prepare and augment large radar datasets, automate labeling, optimize inference for edge hardware, and validate model robustness in varied field conditions. Collaborate with AI, software, hardware, radar, and product teams to integrate models into production systems and advance radar capabilities.

Leads strategic sourcing and outsourcing of radar hardware from prototypes through volume production. Integrates suppliers early into NPI, drives design for manufacturability and cost, evaluates and negotiates with global suppliers, performs cost analysis, mitigates supply risks, secures tooling, and manages commercial agreements through EVT, DVT, and production. Partners with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, and Logistics to improve supplier performance, inspections, ERP integration, and supply chain efficiency.

Provides technical support and field maintenance for radar systems, focusing on software-hardware integration, system and database performance, networking, Linux administration, and uptime. Troubleshoots hardware and software failures, performs root-cause analysis, conducts preventive inspections, analyzes system data, manages subcontractors, and supports installations and demonstrations. Collaborates with project management, product, and engineering teams to improve products and resolve customer issues.

Prepare and instrument integrated electrical and mechanical systems for verification testing. Create and execute plans against product specifications and standards, investigate mechanical and electrical failures, analyze sensor data, coordinate external test laboratories, and produce traceable engineering reports. The role requires hands-on hardware assembly, thermal, vibration, shock, and EMC testing, root-cause analysis, and collaboration with R&D and operations teams.

Serve as the primary technical lead during sales: qualify opportunities, manage technical customer relationships, design system configurations, run field trials and demonstrations, resolve architectural barriers, and feed field insights to product and bid teams to close deals.
