Prepares operating rooms for surgery, verifies sterile instruments and supplies, assists with patient positioning, transport, and retraction, and supports the surgical team during procedures. Maintains infection-control standards, cleans and restocks rooms, disposes of waste properly, and communicates with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare staff.

Provides specialized emergency and forensic nursing care to victims of sexual assault, domestic violence, child and elder abuse, and human trafficking. Schedule endoscopy procedures from GI clinic appointments and the endoscopy work queue. Communicate with clinical teams, maintain accurate patient charting and EHR submissions, assist with workflow and documentation to meet regulatory and billing requirements.

Provides direct patient care including histories, physical exams, ordering and interpreting tests, performing minor procedures (suturing, I&D, casting/splinting), assisting in surgery, inpatient rounding, hospital admissions, emergency care, prescribing medications, referrals, and patient counseling. Supervising physician reviews patient encounters per policy.
