Independent technology transformation consultant supporting directors within a major retailer’s technology organisation. Responsibilities include developing director-level materials, analysing organisational and operating model changes, mapping team responsibilities, structuring ambiguous questions, gathering engineering input on technology strategy and AI, and independently driving workstreams to completion. Requires hands-on organisational change implementation, strong storytelling and analytical skills, technology fluency, self-direction, short-notice availability, EU work authorization, and fluent English.

Design and define conceptual and logical data models and semantic layer for shared enterprise data across countries. Separate core shared semantics from local extensions, define mapping patterns, metadata, lineage, ownership and change-control, and translate models into physical design inputs while validating with stakeholders to drive adoption.

Own the end-to-end design and delivery of an AWS lakehouse Proof of Concept, focusing on architecture, governance, and operational standards.
