Provides peer-based emotional, informational, and recovery support to patients with substance use or mental health challenges. Helps patients set recovery goals, solve problems, access sober housing and community resources, pursue education and employment, and address legal or co-occurring health concerns. Documents services, models recovery values, teaches self-expression, and supports patients through life changes while complying with applicable regulations and clinical supervision requirements.

Manage patient account collections and insurance/third-party billings, coordinate with collection agencies and revenue cycle vendors, handle EHR billing setup and facility credentialing, monitor AR and insurance rates, assist Controller with patient accounts receivable and refunds, and provide backup support for billing and financial specialist roles.

Perform housekeeping and food service tasks in a healthcare/residential setting including cleaning, disinfecting, laundry, stocking supplies, making beds, and basic kitchen maintenance. Follow HIPAA and 42 C.F.R. Part 2, safety procedures, and organizational customer-service and quality standards. Provide occasional driving and relief coverage as assigned.

Provide holistic care coordination for patients with SUD and behavioral health needs: navigate services, schedule appointments, teach self-management, advocate for services, maintain documentation, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
