As a Quantum Engineer, contribute to developing superconducting quantum computers by characterizing qubits, improving hardware functionality, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Own and optimize PVD thin-film deposition processes for superconducting quantum processors. Monitor process health with SPC, analyze metrology and electrical data, lead root-cause investigations, qualify equipment/materials, document SOPs, and train technicians. Mentor engineers, set technical roadmap, and support cross-functional integration for scalable fabrication.

Lead end-to-end planning and execution of complex quantum systems programs. Build roadmaps, integration schedules, and manage dependencies across quantum device, cryogenics, control hardware/firmware, and software teams. Drive cross-functional alignment, identify and mitigate technical and schedule risks, facilitate data-driven decisions, and establish scalable program practices and reporting for research-driven R&D to deliver deployable quantum systems.

Lead mechanical architecture for quantum hardware across room temperature to millikelvin. Design cryogenic signal chains, mechanical interfaces, and thermal budgets. Perform thermal, mechanical, and vibration simulations; drive CAD, GD&T drawings, BOMs, prototyping, qualification, and manufacturing release. Integrate systems, lead bring-up, mentor junior engineers, and maintain PLM-controlled documentation.

Provide first-line IT support for a 250-person quantum R&D organization, triaging incidents via Jira Service Management. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and account issues; manage device lifecycle, imaging, backups, inventory, MFA, onboarding/offboarding, and endpoint management (Intune/Jamf). Coordinate escalation for fabrication/cleanroom and vendor issues and maintain patching, security baselines, and documentation to minimize unplanned downtime.

Lead and grow a cross-functional software engineering team building platforms for quantum device design, fabrication workflows, characterization, and measurement. Drive engineering rigor, architecture, data platforms, streaming systems, and collaboration with hardware, fabrication, and research teams while remaining hands-on to support debugging and smaller technical initiatives.

Develop and maintain production-quality software for IC layout generation and design workflows. Translate device and process requirements into manufacturable layouts, work with GDSII and EDA tools, integrate tooling with design environments, and collaborate across design, fabrication, and research to improve usability, reliability, and scalability of layout tooling in an R&D fab environment.

Lead and scale global field engineering to deploy, integrate, commission, and support on‑premise quantum systems. Own end-to-end site readiness, installation, system integration, commissioning, customer acceptance, handoff, and continuous improvement across hardware, software, and operations.
