Drive new business development for industrial automation and control solutions across assigned Southeast territories. Responsibilities include prospecting, building sales pipelines, developing executive relationships, managing customer and channel partnerships, coordinating proposals, understanding technical requirements, supporting marketing campaigns, and closing complex consultative sales. The role owns revenue targets, territory growth, CRM discipline, estimating alignment, and strategic expansion within industrial markets.

Owns commercial relationships for assigned accounts, driving orders, margin growth, quarterly quota attainment, proposals, estimates, and account strategies. Leads sales pursuits, customer engagements, trade event participation, and senior-level relationship development. Serves as the primary customer contact for projects, coordinating with estimating and engineering teams, resolving issues, interpreting specifications, and ensuring accurate project requirements and timely proposals.

Develop and execute sales strategies for cloud-connected industrial IoT solutions. Generate and qualify OEM opportunities, manage complex technical and commercial sales cycles, build partner and channel relationships, maintain accurate CRM pipelines and revenue forecasts, and close strategic accounts. Collaborate with Marketing, Product Management, Engineering, and R&D to align customer needs with product roadmaps. Support partners with training, commercial tools, and SaaS business-model development while researching markets, competitors, and growth opportunities.

Design and program industrial electrical control systems, PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, VFDs, and instrumentation. Lead intermediate projects, field commissioning, system startups, troubleshooting, and post-installation technical support. Collaborate with project stakeholders, document commissioning activities, interpret engineering drawings, and mentor team members. The role is based onsite in Charlotte, North Carolina, and requires 30–60% regional and national travel to industrial, municipal, and water/wastewater sites.

Design, program, test, and commission relay- and PLC-based control panels and systems. Manage projects from design through field startup, perform electrical sizing and short-circuit analysis, develop PLC/HMI applications and testing procedures, provide technical support to customers, and coordinate with production, procurement, and project management to meet schedule, quality, and budget targets.
